Below are the details on the aid stations locations and menu, crew locations, the list of cutoffs and drop bags instructions.

To keep everyone safe at the aid stations:

  • Unless something dramatically changes between now and the race, masks will not be required, However, please practice social distancing whenever possible.
  • The aid stations will have limited cups. Plan on bringing your own bottle, even if you are running the 25K. All aid stations will still have water, electrolytes and soda, but cups only if needed.
  • The aid stations food will be packaged single-serve sweet and salty items, no loose or open items. This will include bars, candies, bananas, chips, other salty snacks, other creative options like Twinkies. Soup and some limited sandwiches will also be pre-packaged and single-serve.
  • We strongly encourage you to bring more of your own food in your drop bags.
  • Race staff will NOT transport runners back to the finish (medical emergencies excluded). If you decide to drop out, you MUST arrange for your own transportation.
  • There will be no littering on the course. You can leave your refuse in the aid stations trash bags.

Aid Stations

There are 8 aid stations for the 50 miler, 6 on the 50k and 2 on the 25k course. The longest gap is 9.1 miles on the Stony Run Trail on the 50m course. The aid stations will offer pre-packaged and single-serve foods, for Covid and general food safety. They will have water, electrolyte, soda, bananas, pre-packaged bars, candy bars, candies, bite-size snacks, salty snacks and single-serve soup.

Cutoffs

The cutoff for the 50m is 14 hours, for the 50k is 12 hours and for the 25K is 5 hours. Please note that cutoffs will be strictly enforced with no exceptions. Continuing on the course beyond a cutoff without a bib will NOT be allowed under any circumstance. Please respect and abide by the race management's decisions. Race staff will NOT transport runners to the finish (medical emergencies excluded): if you drop out, you MUST arrange your own ride.

Drop Bags

We will not ship your drop bags and we are not responsible for your lost/stolen valuables. Drop bags should be no larger than a small backpack. Please label each drop bag with: aid station name, your bib number, your name. Drop bags return to the finish AFTER the aid station closes, which will be late in the day for most of the aid stations. You are welcome to drive to the aid station to retrieve your bag: driving directions to these aid stations can be found HERE.

Course Markings

The out-and-back course is very well marked. However, please familiarize yourself with the general course layout. If you get lost, please retrace your steps to the location where you initially got lost and pick up the course from there: do not continue on a trail without course marking. Unless instructed during the race briefing, you should go no more than 1/4 mile without seeing a marker.
